The 17th American Conference on Crystal Growth and Epitaxy (ACCGE-17), the 14th U.S. Biennial Workshop on Organometallic Vapor Phase Epitaxy (OMVPE-14) and the 6th International Workshop on Modeling in Crystal Growth (IWMCG-6) will be held together August 9 – 14, 2009 at the beautiful Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva Wisconsin. The format of the conference is designed to maximize interaction both amongst specialists and the wider crystal growth community. ACCGE-17 will provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of recent research and development activities in all aspects of epitaxial thin film and bulk crystal growth; sessions will integrate fundamentals, experimental and industrial growth processes, characterization and applications. The conference will include both oral and poster sessions as well as plenary and invited speakers to provide a broad picture of developments in the field. The meeting will focus on a wide range of crystal growth science issues.
The OMVPE-14 workshop continues a tradition, started at Cornell in 1983, of bringing together specialists in the OMVPE field from industry, academia and government laboratories in an informal atmosphere and scenic surroundings. The workshop is an excellent opportunity to present and discuss new results in the OMVPE field. It also provides a venue for newcomers to the field to familiarize themselves with OMVPE science and technology. IWMCG-6 will continue the tradition of previous international modeling workshops held in Europe, Japan, and the U.S. to bring together scientists, researchers, industrial engineers, and crystal growers working in the field of modeling in crystal growth. The objective is to cover a broad range of topics related to the progress achieved in the field of modeling of bulk crystal growth and thin film deposition. Focused sessions will be organized based upon the topical distribution of papers. Contributed papers are requested in all relevant areas for all meetings. A combined ACCGE/OMVPE/IWMCG vendor exhibit will showcase the latest in crystal growth and related products. A single registration fee will give attendees access to all three meetings. |
